Rose is super loving and social dog!.  She walks well on a leash and is learning manners.  She loves to play for about 1/2 hour and then she is the perfect cuddlebug and lap companion.  Would be a great companion for kids over 5.  Another young dog to play with would be great.  No older dogs for Rose; she would be too much for them.  Rose does not have any separation anxiety and would be ok on her own for certain periods of time.  She entertains herself with her toys and chewies.  As long as she gets exercise in the evening she is happy.  Rose is about 12 lbs. and 1 year old.  Her adoption fee is $250 and includes all medical.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see menu under "adoption info" for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
