Hi Barbara, I just wanted to let you and Janie know that we have found a wonderful home for Gidget, thanks to your courtesy listing on your web site.I had an email from a couple who live in Clovis, CA, who are semi retired and have a 4 year old peke boy that they rescued over a year ago. After numerous emails, I made the 6 hour trip to Clovis with Gidget and met with them both. I then left Gidget there for the night to see if Gidget could be a part of their family. When I left that day, Sally (Gidget's new Mom) gave me a hug and said "I know were going to keep her she is precious". The next day I called before leaving town to see how things were or if I needed to pick up Gidget and bring her back home with me. Sally had already taken Gidget to the groomers and said all was working out great in their home. I couldn't have asked for a better new Mom and Dad for my Gidget. I loved everything about them and they loved everything about Gidget. Thank you so much for posting Gidget on your wonderful website.It broke my heart to give her up, but I know she will be so happy in her new home. Thank you, Debbie

Gidget is a little love and just needs to be in a
family where she can be the only dog or with another small, non alpha dog and no small children. She loves to
travel in the car, go for walks and loves to go to bed (your bed if she
can).
Gidget is very active, she runs all around following our other dogs and when we're outside she is usually out there with us roaming around our 5 acres with the other dogs, I never sit down at home and she follows me from room to room. She jumps up on the couch and loves to cuddle up in a blanket. She loves to be brushed and pampered with. She doesn’t seem to play with toys, but I catch her taking my puppy’s bully stick when the puppy isn’t in the room and Gidget will put them in her little bed. But she doesn’t really chew on them, so this is her little possessive game. She loves to eat and cleans her bowl every day, she loves treats too, but I don’t think she chews them, just swallow them whole. She is house trained as we have two doggie doors, but I have noticed a few accidents lately when it was pouring outside; she would only go out if I went with her. She does not try to run away or escape, she just wants to be with me and hang out, hoping I will sit down on the couch and stay for a few hours. She does not bark a lot, only when we come home and we get a lot of company and she loves everyone! I hope this helps. She really is a joy, words can’t describe how good she is. Debbie
