Precious is a Mini Poodle, about 5years,not available yet for adoption,(but if any of you poodle lovers out there want to partner with us on this girls care?)this is a horrible sad case; the poor girl was sitting waiting to die in a high kill shelter in the central vally,pregnant,matted beyond words,ear infections worse I have seen ever!,Running a fever,and just had about given up on life! Our rescue pulled her along with 7 other dogs,first stripping her coat to the skin bathing her and getting her clean: trying to get the ear canals even to where we can see them was a chore,it was if someone had poured cement in them - the infection had built up so bad when they were unplugged it exploded. She was starved and confused luckly her hearing is still intact but because of her late stage of pregnancy she could not have ear meds so we were only able to put her on amoxicillion for the systemic infection.Well shortly after she gave birth to (3) pups only one survived which in itself is a miracle! Precious is getting love and nutrition and medical care now, she appears to be housebroken, but will not stay away from her boy very long,we will post occasional updates,and new picks of her son who was born Sat,before mothers day @ 3:20 a.m.He is BLK/WHT.and fat she dotes on him,his eyes opened the day of the pics at 13 days,he is our little miracle!

Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea treatment, heartworm test and preventative, wormings, and all other medical care needed to ensure a healthy dog.  Fees vary, based on the care required, age and needs of the animal.  We rely strictly on our adoption fees since we don't receive any outside funding.
The adoption fees we require do not cover the medical expenses, let alone the daily cost of taking care of the dogs we hope to re-home. Additional expenses are out-of-pocket.
