Yogi is the sweetest, kindest(10 yrs. young) gentleman that you could meet. He had to be given up by his owner who could no longer care for him, and we couldn't turn down that sweet, little face because we knew he would end up in the shelter and ultimately put to sleep. Yogi so needs someone who would love a companion to warm their feet in the winter and warm their heart forever. He is still very spry for his age and will likely live quite a few years longer. This Teddy Bear is in good health, weighs about 22 lbs, so would be good for a senior person who doesn't want a small dog to get under their feet. He gets along great with other dogs. $50 adoption fee.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
