Meet sweet, sweet, Pixie. Pixie is a 2 year old long haired chihuahua that loves to cuddle and be near her person more than anything in the world. She needs a quiet home and a companion that can be with her during the day. She's house trained and she is not a runner. She is a little unsure of men at first, but with time she warms right up. Pixie would be a great travel companion or lap dog for a retired couple.

Ps. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on immunizations.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
